|You are picked up by a guide from Selous explorer at your Hotel for safari briefing and then drive south to Selous Game Reserve which is approximately 5 hours drive from Dar es Salaam. On arrival you start with afternoon boat safari in the mighty Rufiji River with overnight at Hippo tented camp on Full Board.

|After breakfast you go for full day game drives with packed lunch boxes in Selous Game Reserve. During lunch time you enjoy your picnic lunch in the picnic site the guide will select for you. After your picnic lunch and some relaxation you continue with your afternoon game drives .After game drives you return back to Hippo tented camp for overnight on Full Board.
Selous Game Reserve covers 5% of Tanzania’s total land area and is approximately 55,000sq km. Selous is Africa’s largest wildlife reserve and Tanzania’s most extensive protected area. Selous provides shelter of large numbers of elephants, big populations of buffaloes, wild dogs, lions, crocodiles and hippos in the mighty Rufiji River, also has a rich variety of birdlife and some of Tanzania’s last remaining black Rhinos The reserve is named after the one of the famous British Explorer Frederick Courteney Selous who was killed in the reserve during WWI.

|Start the day with early morning walking safari and back to the camp for late breakfast and after breakfast drive back to Dar es Salaam with packed lunch boxes, On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped to the Hotel/Ferry terminal for last ferry to Zanzibar or Airport for your flight back home.
